Vinod has worked across verticals in the banking sector right from Corporate banking, Private banking, Wealth management and Treasury, Rural Agri. Besides working with leading banks like ICICI Bank, HSBC at the start of his career, he has also been involved with setting up and leading Wealth lending solutions at Avendus, leading Treasury for retail, Private bank, and business banking at Standard Chartered.
Vinod is a well-recognized name in financial sector for creating new platforms and solutions. He has setup the whole private banking NBFC for HSBC and served on its board. He was instrumental in the setup of the wealth lending practice and liquidity and active MLD desk for Avendus.
He believes that financial security of an individual is a key aspect of any country’s growth; and is passionate about creating scalable solutions for delivery of right financial products & services across a diverse country like India especially for the underserved market.
Vinod holds a management degree from IRMA and is a CFA charterholder.
